Ultra Mastic Coat
Description
Ultra Mastic Coat is a non-toxic, environmentally friendly, high-molecular-weight, high-performance acrylic-based waterproofing elastomeric membrane. This silicon-modified pure-emulsion coating is engineered to act as a one-way membrane — allowing trapped moisture to escape while preventing moisture ingress into the substrate.
Benefits
Easy and safe to apply with no noxious fumes — multiple coats can be applied on the same day for higher dry-film thickness. UV resistant, corrosion resistant, fire resistant, stain resistant, non-toxic and odourless. Provides excellent waterproofing and additional thermal insulation.
Usage
- Finish: Fine-textured satin in White and Grey
- Type: Single-component, water-based acrylic elastomeric
- Limitations: Not recommended on substrates permanently submerged in water
- Substrates: Concrete rooftops, parapet walls, planter boxes, lashings, gutters, corrugated iron roofs, asbestos sheets
- Storage: Cool, dry place
Surface preparation & application
- Surface must be clean, dry and free of loose particles, oil and grease
- Apply by brush or roller — multiple coats permitted same-day
- Bridges hairline cracks and existing micro-cracks
- Thinning: With clean water as required
- Drying time: Surface dries in 4 hours
- Clean-up: Wash tools with soap and water
